  2. Acts 26:18 • Jesus sent Paul to the Gentiles: • “to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.”

What to Teach • information toopen their eyes Ps 119:18, Lk 24:45, 27,32,44-47 • From the scriptures • Correctly handled and applied 2 Tm 2:15 • Themes of O.T. prophecy: Lk 24:46-47 • Christ would suffer • Christ would arise the third day • Repentance & remission of sins to all nations • 1 Cor. 15:1-4

What to Teach • turn them from darkness to light 1 Pt 2:9, Colossians 1:13 two places; where are you? • 2 Cor. 4:1-6, John 8:12, 1 Tim. 6:16 • turn them from the power of Satan unto God • 1 Thess. 1:9 turn away and turn to • Eph. 4:17-32 put off old man and put on new • When we are baptizedinto the death of Christ, we are freed from the power of sin over us Rom. 6:1-7

What to Teach • That they may receive forgiveness of sins Luke 24:47-49, Acts 1:8, 2:38 repent & be baptized • And an inheritance among those sanctified by faith in Christ Rm 3:26; 1 Pet. 1:4-5, Hb 12:28 • Acts 24:25 righteousness, self-control, judgment to come • Who is Jesus, why He died for us, what we must do, why we must do it
