  3. Technik • Früher: Verbindung aus Mobiltelefon und PDA • Heute: Digitalkamera, Mediaplayer, GPS, WLAN, etc. • Touchscreen (kapazitativ vs. resistiv – „multi-touch“) • tw. Tastatur mit physischen Tasten • echtes Betriebssystem (sonst: Firmware) • Apps (Anwendungen aus einem „App Store“)

Betriebssysteme • Symbian Platform (OSS, früher Symbian OS) • BlackBerry OS (RIM, nur Blackberrys) • iPhone OS (Apple, nur iPhone/iPod touch/iPad) • Windows Mobile (Microsoft,  Windows Phone 7 Series) • Android (OSS/Linux, Google & Co.) • MeeGo (OSS/Linux, Nokia/Intel) • webOS (Linux, Palm/HP) • bada (Linux, nur Samsung)

  9. Vorteile • Informationen jederzeit und überall abrufen • Persönliches Informationsmanagement (PIM) an einem Ort, inkl. Abgleich mit anderen Quellen und Backup in der Cloud • Digitaler Hub (Kontakte, Nachrichten, eMail, Multimedia, …) • Kosten sparen (Internettelefonie, WLAN, Preisvergleich)

  10. Vorteile • Ein Gerät für alle Zwecke(Handy, Mediaplayer,Digitalkamera, Spielkonsole) • Mobil arbeiten (eMail, Fernzugriff, VPN, Dokumente ansehen, Ressourcen bearbeiten, …) • Hilfe im Alltag (Routenplaner, Messen, Prüfen, Barcodes scannen, usw.)

  11. Nachteile • Kosten (Anschaffung,Sondertarife) • Touchscreens sind nicht immer optimal (Schmutz, ungenaue Bedienung, Lesbarkeit im Sonnenlicht) • Lernkurve höher (umlernen, alle Funktionen kennen und richtig einsetzen), vorher informieren

  12. Nachteile • Verleitet zu Spielerei undauch Unproduktivitätoder Ablenkung • Wertvolles Gerät, zieht evtl. Diebe an (Schule, Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, usw.) • Möglicher Informationsverlust/Identitätsdiebstahl (persönliche Daten, Passwörter, etc.)
