Authors of the Rig Veda • Identity of authors remains a mystery • Part of the Indo-European race that gradually migrated into the Indian subcontinent from what are now Iran & Afghanistan • Referred to themselves as Aryans meaning “noble” • Sanskrit, the language of the Rig Veda, is one of the oldest Indo-European tongues Image courtesy of: www.landsofwisdom.com
