  8. What happens if you don’t submit (2915) • The licensing agency of the person regulates the person • Board of pharmacy only involved in pharmacy

  9. Accessing the data (2917 – 2921) • Who may access the data collected? (2917) • Persons authorized to dispense or prescribe • People from licensing agencies • Medicaid people looking at Medicaid patients • People from the computer company • How to register? (2919) • Must take orientation course • Complete an application • BOP ensures applicant has a licenses • BOP gives password, but can take away.

  11. Unlawful use of data (2923) • You get bounced to your board (pharmacy for you)

  12. Clean up of the chapter (2925 – 2931) • Data may be released for research purposes • All ID must be washed though • Leges still have oversight, and must be reported to • Board of Pharmacy must evaluate the program • Veterinarians are exempt if dispensing to their own patients.
