  4. GTC EMEA: AI GOES TO THE CLINIC King’s College London is Europe’s first clinical partner to adopt NVIDIA DGX-2 and the NVIDIA Clara Platform. A leader in medical research, they will deploy NVIDIA AI solutions for use in radiology and pathology to better serve 8 million patients in the U.K.’s National Healthcare Service (NHS). GTC EMEA: AMBITIOUS STARTUPS GO HEAD-TO-HEAD 140 Inception partners participated in the Europe’s Hottest Startup Challenge.Two healthcare startups Axial3D and RetinAI were runners-up in the competition. Axial3D produces medical 3D printing software to advance the standard and efficiency of surgical intervention. RetinAI develops preventative treatment for eye diseases including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.   7. GTC ISRAEL: A VIBRANT STARTUP ECOSYSTEM Among the 4,000 tech startups two Inception Partners, IBEX Medical and Voiceitt, participated in the Israel’s Hottest Startup Competition. IBEX Medical Analytics applies big data and AI to support pathologists in diagnosing cancer, accelerate lab workflows and improve clinical decision making. Voiceitt enables those with muscle related speech disabilities to use vocal expressions to be translated into clear speech in real time with the goal of providing greater independence.   8. GTC ISRAEL: INCEPTION CHAMPION AWARD Zebra Medical Vision was the recipient of the inaugural Inception Champion Award. Using NVIDIA Tesla K80 GPUs and NVIDIA cuDNN, their work in the healthcare industry provides a real-time solution to analyze millions of medical images to detect and predict disease and help establish preventative care programs.   9. GTC DC: OPENING A NEW WORLD OF PREVENTION The amount of available genomic and health sensor data is increasing at an enormous rate. Genomic data alone is doubling every seven months.
