Ephesians 3:1-6 • For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner for Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles-- assuming that you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace that was given to me for you, • how the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, • which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit. This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.

  3. 5 Things You Must Know God Is – if there is no God nothing that is matters. God Spoke – 1 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21. God Spoke In Words – 2 Samuel 23:2. God Spoke In Known Languages – Acts 2:5-11. God Spoke In Propositional Language – Genesis 1:1-3; 2:15-17; 3:11; 3:17.

The Bible Must Be Read With The Intent Of Being Understood. The Bible Is To Be Taken Literally Unless Something In The Context Demands A Figurative Explanation.

Beginning of chapter, book or Bible. • Two kinds of commands – Specific and General a. Make an ark of gopher wood. b. Go into all the world and preach the gospel.

  6. 5 Vital Questions To Always Ask Who Is Talking? God, Angels, prophets, false prophets, Satan, godly men, wicked men, animals. To Whom Are They Talking? –Noah (Gen 6:14) What Did They Say? cleanliness next to godliness – God hears not sinners prayers – (John 9:31).

  9. 1 Book of Beginnings • Genesis Is The Foundation On Which The Bible Rests. • Chapters 1-11 are the foundation on which Genesis rests. • Beginning of everything: • The Universe • Animals • Humans • The home/marriage • Communication with God • Temptation/sin • Sacrifice/worship • Tools, instruments • Judgment, death, faith, salvation et.al.

The Bible Is A Mystery • Not mysterious, not mystical. • AMystery is that which can be known but has not yet been revealed. • God alone knows what He is doing in the world to bring Christ (1 Cor 2:8-13; Eph 1:9; 3:6-11). • The Mystery is revealed a little at a time it moves forward. • No one knows more than is what revealed at any time.
