This week’s math facts 7+4, 4+7, 7+2, 2+7 • Reading –”One Grain of Rice” Making inferences, suffixes - or, less, ly • English – editing and following a checklist for final publication of narratives, review and test on Unit 4 • Health - Nutrition • Handwriting – Upper and Lower Case Vv and Ww Bonus Words: bragbragged chopchopped Spelling Words: trip run stop trippedrunning stopping drop hug swim dropped hugged swimming Vocabulary Words: collectors store clever reward double amount Reminders: Needed for Health project: Paper towel rolls, panty hose, and knee high panty hose. Please sign the slip at the bottom of the report card and return the slip back in the envelope on Monday. Our field trip to the Portage Lake Career Center is on the 15th. We will be back before lunch. Permission slip and $5.00 for Mrs. Boyd’s music field trip are due on the 16th. Permission slip and $5.00 for the McKinley field trip are due ont the 19th. Our first Math Sale for the students’ $1000 bills will take place on Wednesday, November 21st. Many thanks to Mayor Bollas for visiting our second grade this afternoon and talking about our local government and our community. Rogan did a great job as our star student this week. Halle is our star next week.
