Tasks • Complete the 2nd drafts of our personal expressive pieces. • Self guided proofreading • Adding dialogue • Fixing modifier issues • Finish Night, view the Elle Wiesel interview with Oprah. Take the culminating activity for the book and unit. (You will have a choice) • Work on our recognition of modifier problems and learn strategies for fixing them.

Learning Goals • I can convey a theme, mood, and tone using specific word choice and literary devices. • I can write strong modifiers that correctly modify the correct object. • I can make connections between a text to both history and myself and the world I live in. • I can support my opinions with appropriate details and reasoning.
