  1. FRENCH MOBILITY

  2. 1. What is the message of the advert for each place visited? • The message of the advert is to demonstrate the way to protect the flora and fauna with all our efforts and without putting ourselves above nature. • The message of the advert is to attract as many as possible visitors to discover the city and learn about the history of the canal and its use to the French

  3. 2.Who does the advert influence? • Recommended attitude of the visitor now ,and in the future. For example walk only on foot and not by vehicle. • Keep out our pet animals close to us, during the walk into the forest.Dont cut flowers and don’t throw garbage in any place. • The advert encourages visitors to protect the canal, but there is not any information in English.

  4. 3. How well is the advert offered to people passing by? • When we arrived we saw labels with information about the site. Unfortunately, they were written only in French and nobody knows where to go and what to do. • There were many signs along the canal written in French, although this is a Unesco monument .So it was very difficult for every foreigner to know where to go.

  5. 4. Are the local specificities presented to the foreigners in an interesting way? • At LizetNatura 2000 there weren’t any special points dedicated to the observation of birds and animals(like shelters with benches, transportation by boats in the lake ). • At Canal du midi all the local specificities can be presented by walking or boating with an interesting way.

  6. 5. Is this kind of enterprise connected with the sustainable development? • We think that we have sustainable development because there are only incomes and not functional expenses. • All the sights we visited hadn’t any entrance ticket so we think that it is very difficult for them to survive at competition enterprise.

  7. 6. Is the customer/visitor informed about the sustainable development? • We don’t know if there is a need to inform the visitors.

  8. 7 . Is the place affected by this enterprise? How? Suggest Any change. • Of course the place is affected, because the lake is an artificial construction. It would be better to use as protected zone another natural place and make no intervention to the environment. • At Canal du Midi the place is affected but they couldn’t avoid this, because it is an economical source for them.

  9. 8. Is this site well indicated? • It wasn’t the proper position for the protected zone. • It was the right place because the canal connect the Mediterranean sea with the Atlantic ocean through Garonne river.

  10. 9. Are the mentions (UNESCO,sustainable development) well indicated and valorised? • The mention of UNESCO and sustainable development are very well indicated and valorised

  11. 10.What would you improve in this site? • We would rewritten the information signs again in two languages(French and English) and we would make better road labels to go there. • We would rewritten the information signs again in two languages(French and English).
