What does it look like? • The German measles look like a a very bad rash or bumps all over.
How do you get it? • People get measles when they breathe in tiny droplets that contain the measles virus. • People can also be infected by direct contact with fluid from the nose or mouth of an infected person.
What are the symptoms? • Depending on the persons body, some people show or get the symptoms, and some people don’t. • Symptoms are: Rash, Slight Fever, Joint Aches, Head Ache, Discomfort, Runny nose, Sore Throat, and Redden Eyes…
How is it diagnosed? • Measles can usually be diagnosed by symptoms. A blood test can confirm the diagnosis. • What is the treatmeant? There is no specific treatment for measles.
Can it be prevented & how? • Measles can be prevented by immunization. • About 95 percent of vaccinated people are protected with one dose, and practically everyone is protected with two doses.
