Math Literacy Workshop A four day workshop created with the following goals: -Explain the aspects of reading and writing in mathematics -Discuss effective reading strategies -Discuss how to create an environment for reading and writing in mathematics -Suggest motivating writing activities -Discuss methods of vocabulary development Schedule Day 1- Reading in mathematics, strategies and questioning Day 2- Vocabulary and symbol development Day 3- Writing in mathematics and understanding math writing tasks Day 4- Additional strategies for mathematics T.O.C.
