  6. Amos went to Japan, crossed the Sahara desert, went to China three times, and in many others places

  7. Brian on the other hand has been to many countries; he has been to the North Pole, has crossed the Godi desert, has been to India twice, and he has explored in six continents!!!

  8. Question Notice the sentences below: • Amos went to different countries • Brian has been to different countries The difference in these two sentences is about the tense: we use went for Amos because Amos is dead (1924-2000) while Brian is still alive (1954-)
