  2. God’s Perfect Design of Right Man – Right Woman Why the First Marriage Failed The Role of the Husband in Marriage. The Role of the Wife in Marriage. Problem Solving within a Marriage The Role of Sex in Relationships. Outline for This Series:

  3. God’s Perfect Design:With the exception of a spiritual relationship with the Lord, having your Right Man or your Right Woman is God’s highest provision of human happiness.

  4. God has designed this fantastic happiness on earth, for both believers and unbelievers.

  5. Gen 1:26, “The likeness of God”. God is one in essence yet three in person, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God created man Soul, Body and Spirit, yet he is one in person.

  6. Vs. 27, “Male and female He created them.” Male and female became living creatures at separate times.Gen 2:7, 21-22

  7. After Adam was created, he was alone for some time which became an issue.Gen 2:20

  8. The souls of Right Man - Right Woman, as well as their bodies, are designed to be a perfect match for each other.

  9. It is the discovery in the soul that leads to the eventual intimacy of the bodies, not the other way around.

  10. Gen 1:28, “blessed them.” BARAK - The Peil (Intensive) Mood that indicates tremendous happiness, the ultimate of human happiness. The Imperfect Tense means it is an action that is not complete or finished but goes on.

  11. Marriage is God’s way of blessing men and women throughout history.

  12. Eccl 9:9, “Enjoy life with the woman whom you love all the days of your fleeting life (life of emptiness) which He has given to you under the sun; for this (right woman) is your reward in life and in your toil (work or occupation) in which you have labored under the sun.”

  13. Principles of the 1st Marriage!Gen 2:7, 18-25

  14. God's motivation for creating the woman: “A helper corresponding to the Man”, Gen 2:18.

  15. In grace, our Lord manufactured (BANAH) a Right Woman and brought her to the man.

  16. Vs. 20 “Helper”The Keil and Delitzsch commentary says, “A helping being, in which as soon as he sees it, he may recognize himself”.

  17. When God presented the woman to Adam he immediately recognized her physically and soulishly corresponding to him; Right Man - Right Woman.

  18. Adam first had a relationship with God, and then he had a relationship with the woman. The first human relationship in all of history was marriage.

  19. Man's body is incomplete apart from his Right Woman.

  20. Vs. 22, God brought the woman to the man – He determines the Right Man and Right Woman relationship.

  21. Principles: Men - first develop your relationship with God; and then under faith-rest wait for God to bring the Right Woman to you.
