Investigating Where you Are So You Can Plan Where You Want to Go! Read each of the indicators under each standard and check the one response that indicates the current status of your service-learning initiative. • Select “Weak” if the area or indicator is not in place or there are conditions that work against it. This is where you encounter “Barriers”. • Select “Needs Work” if the area or element is in place, but needs improvement for effective practice. • Select “Strength” if you think the area or element is in place and operating at a highly effective level. This is where “Assets” contribute to your initiative.
As you finish, please use a marker to record your responses with an X in the appropriate box of the group assessment.
