How we do it – best practices • Work with FOE advisors to incentivize best energy practices in “CLUSTERS” • Prescriptive incentives • Custom incentives • Stalled best practices – financing pilot • Focus loan up to $250k (administered by CTP) • FOE grants & incentives still apply • Targets for Therms, kW, and kWh

  5. How we do it – New Tech • CTP searches for “emerging” tech • Definition: not deployed in Wisconsin • Perform due diligence on technology • Identify/evaluate appropriate site • CTP loan from investment fund with specific negotiable terms (<~$400k) • CTP equity position from fund
