  5. Biotechnology/Communication Age: Enter – The Fourth Wave The fourth wave has begun. The emergence of biotechnology and the communication age is evident in our society and daily lifestyles. From online payment websites that meets the needs of the consumer to online education that allows for diversity and creativity, the growth of communication is evident. Similarly, from stem cell research to renewable energy, biotechnology is making a profound presence.
