Update from Informal Meeting Update since informal customer rate meeting: • At the March 5, 2014 Informal Customer Rate Meeting Western proposed a $700k increase to the FY 2015 Base Charge • Today’s Public Information Forum Western is presenting a proposed $15M decrease to the FY 2015 Base Charge Reason: • On March 12, 2014, BCP Contractors submitted payment to Bureau of Reclamation for the pay off of the capitalized debt for the Visitor Facility and Air Slots investments • The pay off has satisfied the debt for Visitor Facility and Air Slots from future rate development beginning in FY 2015 Base Charge and Rates
Next Steps ● Public Comment Forum April 16, 2014 ● End of Consultation and Comment Period May 6, 2014 ● Rate Package finalized May 31, 2014 ● Rate Package delivered to Washington July 1, 2014 ● Effective Date of Base Charge and Rates October 1, 2014
