2. Problem Professors, instructors, and teachers use websites to teach and post data for students to study. If these teachers want to hold an open book/notes test, there is no way to make the information accessible without mitigating the opportunities for cheating.

Characteristics • Schools offer wireless network access. • Cannot monitor who connects to it • Cannot prevent students from “Googling” the answers to questions • Cannot prevent online chats • Students have laptops. • Cannot prevent students from running programs that can provide answers to the questions.
