  1. Welcome to Odyssey Training Center’sOnline Course Information This brief introduction will help you understand how you will get the most out of your online training and tips to help you navigate through the course content.

  2. Course Design • The online courses are organized by topics. Each topic area will include a number of icons, which indicate different types of content. • To access course content just click on the icon • Video & Resource icons open by taking you directly to internet content – return to course click the return arrow button in the upper left hand corner of your browser. • Content/text/audio icons open by downloading the information to your computer which you open.

  3. Icons specify course content • Presentationsand Audio: include text and images and audio will download to your computer like any email attachment. Depending on the size of the download and your computer speed, it may take a few moments for the presentation to download. • Video icons when clicked will immediately open with the video presentation. • To return to the course see the next slide on navigating online.

  4. Navigating • Using breadcrumbs Breadcrumbs are so named because they leave a trail so you can always get back to where you started if you ever get lost. The breadcrumb trail is located in the upper left corner and will look something like this: Odyssey>>Principles of Addiction>> Topic 3>>Assignment So say you finished the assignment and want to return to Topic 3, just go to the breadcrumbs and click on Topic 3.
