Faulty Communication 1 Student has a toothache. Student thinks he should see a dentist. Student emails concern to natural parents. Parents are worried and call their YFU committee. Committee calls their national office and says student is not getting needed medical attention. The national office calls the USA national office, saying student may be sick and no one is doing anything.
Faulty Communication The national office calls the District Office and asks them to check on the student. The District Office calls the Volunteer Representative and tells him to check on the student and host family. The Volunteer Representative calls the family. The host parents are surprised. The Volunteer Representative speaks with the student. The student speaks with the Host Family.
Faulty Communication The Volunteer Representative notifies the District Office that Host Family will take the student to the dentist. District Office notifies National Office other National Office Committee natural parents. The Host Family takes the student to the dentist. The Volunteer Representative confirms that the student has been to the dentist and received care.
