  1. Mater Gardens Kindergarten Newsletter Name: Week of January 30 CHECK WHAT TABLE YOUR CHILD IS SITTING AT This week –This week we will continue to read “Where the Wild Things Are”. We will also read “Lilly Reads” in our reading text books. In Language Arts we will learn the letters “L” and “X”. In Math we will compare and contrast numbers up 20. Comments Dear Parents, We would like to thank you all for being so involved in your child’s education. As you know, class begins at 8:30 am. We must have all students in their seats and all parents out of the class by that time. Beginning on Monday, January 30, the classroom doors will be locked at 8:30 am. If you would like to talk to us please feel free to call us or schedule a meeting before or after school. We also need to address all the toys and makeup that are being brought to school. Please do not allow your child to bring any toys to school or allow girls to bring lipstick or nail polish. Thank you again for your time and cooperation. No School Friday, February 3rd !! Materials needed for next week Please send what is assigned to your child's table. Green Table - Ayanna, Grisel, Nicolas, Damian, Dianette, Lucas – Bring in one bag of black licorice Green Table - Mateo, Alice, Cristina, Adriel, Juliette, Abigail - Bring in one bag of black licorice I am also in need of erasers and white copy paper. Please let me know if you can donate any of these items. Thanks!
