1. Choosing a Q-Set Q-Setis a term used to describe a pre-set combination of a technical skill assessment questions. ST = Standard Sessions are full featured, in-depth evaluations that include 30 to 50 randomized questions drawn from the KnowledgeBase and broken into specific subtopics. Standard sessions take approximately 45-90 minutes to complete depending on the skill level of a candidate, the level of question difficulty (e.g. basic vs. advanced), and the robustness of the discipline covered (e.g. Win NT vs. Oracle). Standard Sessions Count as 1.0 for inventory deduction purposes. QT = Quick Sessions are fast pre-screens, have approx. 20 technical questions on a single technology, and provide only summary email results for a quick evaluation. They take approx. 30 to 45 min. to complete. Quick Sessions count as .5 for inventory deduction purposes. Core Q-Set contains 8-10 questions concentrated on key points in a given skill area. Core Q-Sets are principally combined to create larger multi-skill assessments, but may be used on a stand alone basis as well. They take approx. 15 to 30 min. to complete. Core Sessions count as .5 for inventory deduction purposes.
