  2. Path Forward • Provide guidelines for how donations/assistance works, or should work (Joint Unit) • Group members will work the National Focal Points issue within their own organizations (All)

  3. Path Forward (Cont’d) Kenya and Columbia will investigate using/adopting ERI – Environmental Risk Identification Tool Group expects a report from the consultant (Joe Bishop) in June and will respond to it during the period June – December (possible meeting)

  4. Path Forward (Cont’d) • Coordination and communication needed between Thematic Areas 1 and 3 on FEAT and ERI (perhaps training in the use of, can be combined) • All group members have been committed to “carrying the banner,” and will be responsive to the consultant and seek out all needed answers.

  5. Path Forward (Cont’d) • Nations may want to use the Virtual On Site Coordination and Cooperation Center (VOSCC?) for ERI/FEAT and training etc.

  6. Path Forward (Cont’d) Product 04/2008: • Described strategy of operational procedure and process • including prioritized actions needed to take forward on a timeline. • 05/2008 planning and sharing of activities until AGEE-2009 • Comments from other members…..please

  7. Anything Anytime Anywhere Operations! mercury spill, fire and explosion, oil spills, tire fires, train wreck, floods, Shuttle recovery…
