  3. Introduction • Michael Lu (mklu2@illinois.edu) • Majoring in Computer Science • Doing photo since 8th grade • Describe myself as Beginner to Intermediate photographer • Working to become a high school teacher

  4. Course Objectives • Photo experience from start to finish. • Instill a greater appreciation for the art • Provide a framework to develop your skills • Connect and have fun

  5. Course Requirements • Prior experience not necessary • Film Camera • Photopaper

  6. Grand Scheme of Things • Next 3 weeks will cover shooting • 3 weeks after that will cover darkroom • 2 weeks of advanced topics • 2 weeks of gallery setup • Weekly activities to guarantee opportunities to shoot/develop.
