  3. Researchtopics to be covered in work program • Envirenmental protection in the broadestsense • Communitydevelopment in broadestsense • Application and development of information and communication technology

  4. Marine habitat control and coral reef protection Erosion control Renewable (energy) resources Community Technology centers a.o. subjects which will be identified soon Examples OF SPECIFIC SUBJECTS

In order to obtain optimum development, the International Research Center for Asia Pacific Studies (IRCAPS) should build a strategic alliance with a suitable overseas institution (or institutions) Preparation towards identification of eventual future partner(s) should be made at the earliest possible opportunity The need to develop a strategic alliance
