U.S. Army Corps of Engineers DCP_Monitor History • 2002 – Corps realized the need for better monitoring of its DCP networks • 2003 – Stan Brua (NAB) and Rich Engstrom (MVR) outlined a Statement of Work funded by HQ • 2003 – ILEX Engineering delivered the DCP_Monitor • 2005 – Corps (MVD) funds major upgrade (view raw and decoded message) • 2007 – Corps (MVD) funds major upgrade (DAMSNTv8 and DCP Naming Conventions) • Current - ILEX distributes this software with DECODES

  3. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers What is the DCP_Monitor? • Web Based Tool • Used to monitor DCP transmission quality • Has been integrated into the Corps’ RiverGages-WIBS EDDN service • Corps version is only accessible via the Corps WAN • Used on a daily basis by many Corps Districts
