  5. Recent Meetings • The subcommittee met on 24 July 2014 • The topics discussed at this meeting include: • Geodetic Control Theme content on geoplatform.gov • Photo-identifiable control points • ISO registry of Geodetic Codes and Parameters • CORS update • New datums communication plan

  6. Recent Developments/Projects • Geopotential Datum • GRAV-D: ~38% done • Iowa Geoid Slope Validation Survey completed GRAV-D status, May 2014 Green: AvailableBlue: Data being processedOrange: Data collection underwayWhite: Planned for data collection

  7. Next Meeting • 26-27 JAN 2015 • Some of the topics to be discussed at the next meeting include: • Bluebook (database input and format) changes • Plans for April 2015 Geospatial Summit with the National Society of Professional Surveyors

  8. Next Steps • In the coming months, the FGCS plans to: • Continue to prepare for the new geometric and geopotential datums • Plan for April FGCS meeting
