Three Bean Salad • Read: What is in the salad? • Counting on is a great strategy for 2 Bean Salad. • Drawing pictures is helpful. • Guess and adjust as you work. • Remember all 3 beans go into each salad. (except when playing 2 bean salad)
Example: Two Bean Salad • This salad contains 6 red beans. • 10 beans in all. • How many black beans?
Choose a number between 25 and 55. Take turns! Each square may be used only once. The first player to reach the target number wins. If the player goes over the number they are OUT! Target Addition
Number Guess • Each player needs a number line. • The leader decides the “SECRET NUMBER” from the number line • The goal is to guess the number in as few tries as possible. • Take turns! • The leader can only say “too large” or “too small” • The players should use markers and place them on their board. • The first player correct is the next leader.
