What their homes look like? • The longhouse looks like a house that is made out of wood what they bend. • They make holes in the top so smoke to go out. • Longhouse’s are from 50 to100 feet long. • Instead of a door they have deer skin for it to keep some bug’s out. • The longhouse’s are 8 feet wide. • They room’s were all separated by deer skin. • Their homes have a roof on the top so nothing get’s in but they have a hole so smoke can get out

  4. Who lived their? • A longhouse’s can fit 12 families living inside. • Families lived in small room’s. • All the room’s were separated with deer skin. • In the longhouse, all relatives of the family would live their.

  5. What was the village like? • Around the village the iroquois build wooden fences with sharp points. • This kept animals and un wanted visters away.
