  2. 190,00 tonnes, 94% untouched 328,00 tonnes, ¼ of the food that we throw away is still in its packaging. We throw away £420 of food a year 35900 tonnes, 49% untouched What three foods do you think that we throw away the most in Britain? Why do you think that this is?

  3. Over £10 Billion is thrown away each year. What ways can we reduce the amount of food that we throw away? Stops people buying what they don’t need, makes people plan meals link Re-use left over's or freeze meals

  6. Food Hygiene and Safety Rules of Re-heating Food Foods should only be reheated once. When foods are reheated they should be re-heated above the danger point of 63 deg c, taking care to avoid cold spots in food heated in microwaves by turning and moving the food Foods should be covered and cooled rapidly and refrigerated as quickly as possible below 5 deg c Hot foods should not be placed in the fridge.
