  11. Cleaned out along the previous addition foundation

  13. Fill the truck, dump behind the barn for future use

  14. Original house burned in a fire

  15. Parts from the old coal furnace

  16. Starting to strip the former addition

  17. Stones and ashes from the old fire

  18. Pots and pans unearthed

  19. All done for now, we’re going home

  20. Fencing to keep out the curious

  21. Marked and ready for footings

  22. We have to make access at the basement window

  23. Things we’ve unearthed – blue bottles are Milk of Magnesia

  24. Face cream jar I believe

  25. Old bottles and a license plate

  26. Sharpening stone unearthed

  27. More bottles to be cleaned for inspection
