1. Preparation for College Application WeekNovember 15-19, 2010 Using Your CFNC to apply to colleges Provided by the avid class

2. You must have… We will be completing several applications for colleges and Universities. Items that are required are A Social Security Card A Credit card -Just incase the college you want to apply to does not have a free application waver provided by CFNC.

3. Filling out College Applications Click on Apply on the home screen, when signed into account, and click on “To College”

4. Applying Click on College Applications

5. Finding Schools and Choosing Either Scroll Through the College, or Type a College name on the search When Ready, Click on a College and click Apply

6. Ready to Begin Make sure to read through the instructions and information Click on “Begin Application” on the bottom of the page

7. Filling out information Fill out the information required to proceed to the next step. It should already be filled out for you. If not, fill it in When Ready Click Next, on the bottom of the screen

8. More filling out information Keep filling out information until the process is done On the Left column of the screen, Make sure all of the steps are completed under “Applications Admission” *many Applications will require more Steps but keep filling out information If needed

9. Almost Done? When you are on the last part of the application, at the bottom of the page click Only click when you are SURE that all your information is correct and you have filled out all the required boxes

10. SIGNATURE! Make a Fancy signature in the “signature” box

11. CONGRATULATIONS! You have just completed your application Online through CFNC!
