  6. The Pathway to Success Diversify Revenue: Philanthropy, Contracts and Grants • Successful completion of March On! Campaign exceeding $85 million goal • More than 18,000 donors • 4,700 first-time donors • 100% participation from Foundation Board, Alumni Board, Board of Trustees and Foundation and Alumni staff • Record 29% participation from all University employees yielding more than $3.3 million • Sense of pride and tradition of giving bodes well for annual giving and subsequent campaigns
