PITTSBURGH is now home to church planters, chris and reBecca Autry Chris and Becca are originally from North Carolina. They have been in Pittsburgh since March 2012. Rebecca grew up in WMU, going through Mission Friends, GA’s and Acteens; taking part in 2 Acteens Activator trips. They served as our missionary contacts for the week.
Our first activity for the day was preparing 59 lunches for homebound. It meant getting up at 5:30 every morning; sort of rough for those of us NOT morning people. Meals on wheels
When the camp attendees are 3 year olds, you change your plans.WMU = flexible
We also did nursing home ministry, but were unable to take pictures of the residents. We helped them decorate cookies, play Bingo, and were able to have a Bible Study on Job!
Thank you to the NC WMU for supporting the SHINE mission trip to pittsburgh!
