Discover the theme • The beginning • Leaders have concerns, desires, questions, propositions, arguments, hope, dreams and aspirations – core concepts around which they organize their aspirations and actions. • Leaders begin the process by discovering their own themes • Express your passion – self-exploration / self-creation • If you don’t care deeply for and about something and someone, then how can you expect others to feel any sense of conviction? • Explore you past / pay attention to your experiences • If we don’t see right in front of us is may be because we do not care

  5. Imagine the possibilities • Turning a possibility into an inspiring vision is what a leader does • Visions are about hopes, dreams and aspirations • Take pride in being unique • Make images of the future • Look to the future
