The Delta Committee (2007-2008) The mandate The Netherlands government asked the Delta Committee to come up with recommendations on how to protect the Netherlands against the consequences of climate change on the short and the very long term. The Committee’s integrated vision embraced interactions with life and work, agriculture, nature, recreation, landscape, infrastructure and energy. Delta Programme Commissioner
Summary of Delta Committee report Twelve recommendations for the future The Delta Committee has developed an integrated vision for the future extending to 2100, and formulated 12 recommendations for the short and medium term. Scientific basis The Delta Committee sought scientific advice on a number of aspects, from a group of national and international experts.
