The“Vincenzo Lilla”Upper Secondary School is located in Francavilla Fontana a small town in Puglia.
The school has approximately 400 students, 17 classes, 23 students on average for each class. This is a typical classroom in our school. The subjects studied at our school are mostly classical: Greek and Latin Literature, Philosophy and History, Italian. But there are also general subjects such as Science, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Natural Science, Geography. Also Religion,PhysicalEducation, Art History and expecially English.
The years at Italian High School are five.Our school begins with the first two “Gimnasium” years and goes on with the last three years of high school called “Liceo”. The students attending the first two years are aged 14-15 while senior students are 16-19 years old. Our school timetable goes from Monday to Saturday (yes, we go to school on Saturday!) and we attend lessons from 8:00 to 13:00 or 14:00 depending on the day and the class. All of our students go on to university when they leave our school.
