Our Film: Hooker • I think our film falls into the Independent films category. My reasons are down to the fact that we didn’t need any expensive special effects to make our film more appealing. I feel we have created an interesting plot that will keep the audience hooked. • The company I believe could take this film on and work with is Vertigo Films. This is because they specialise in genre-driven film, which is low budget and have distributed many British independent films since 2002 some such as, London to Brighton (2006) and Pusher (2012) both crime thrillers, both share similar parts of narrative; both involve drugs, prostitution, violence, the criminal underworld. And so I think our film Hooker would fit well within films like these.
