What is Blue Technology? Bluetooth technology was designed primarily to support simple wireless networking of personal consumer devices and peripherals, including cell phones, PDA’s . Wireless signals transmitted with Bluetooth cover short distances, typically up to 30 feet.
Objectives • Acceptance for data communications. • Short-range Wireless Making suitable technology devices for consumers needs. • Voice & Data Providing voice & data technology. Enabling old and new technology to work together. • World Wide Use Being able to use anywhere in the world.
Today’s Screen T The icon at the bottom of the screen, shows the connection status of the Bluetooth wireless technology
Configure your Bluetooth • Use your stylus pen click the lower-right corner of the Today’ screen and tap the icon for the Bluetooth connection. • Tap the connection menu and select Bluetooth Manager. • You will need to establish a connection with your wireless Bluetooth, tap New. • Tap explore a Bluetooth device.
Next Steps • Tap the remote to connect Bluetooth technology device you wanted. • Tap the service that you wanted to create your connection with. • Tap finish to create the connection. • Tap and hold the connection created under my shortcuts and tap connect. • The device sure prompts to connect and will ask you for a passkey. Enter the passkey and tap OK.
You should have a active connection with your Bluetooth Wireless Technology after following these steps.
