  3. Arkansas CPI Program Since 2005 Overall enrollment18,892 Translates to over 40,000 Arkansans! To be eligible must have a child in the home!

  4. Demographics • 403 Students – all have children (struggling) • Majority are single parents • Impact nearly 800 children • Balance school, work and family Low-income, low-skill Individuals to jobs in High-demand, high-wage employment

  5. You must be an adult caretaker, parent or relative of a child under the age of 21 ANDare receiving Transitional Employment Assistance(TEA) OR Food Stamps, Medicaid, or ARKidsORhave annual family income below 250% of federal poverty level (about $46,000 annually for a family of three).

  6. What Career Pathways give to the community • Child Care $52,094.00 • Transportation $58,240.00 • Over $200,000 Tuition, testing fees, uniforms, books, software for students, and internet cards. Educational opportunities
