The people who were teasing her ruined her day! Mary wanted to quit school that very moment. Her older brother tried to make her feel better,butit didn’t work. When she went back to school the nextday, Mary ferventlystood up for herself and told everyone that she didn’t care how she looked like. To Mary, it felt likeshe was in front of a big audience. Everyone thought her speech was good. Later that day, Mary cheered up and felt very happy. She was diligentenough to tell everyone it doesn’t matter how you look like. She had a zeal for xylography.
