CURRENT ISSUES • Perkembangan teknologi informasi khususnya perangkat keras computer berjalan begitu cepat sehingga ide-ide awal kemunculan perangkat input dan output yang terpisah fungsinya, saat ini menjadi kabur. • Sebuah perangkat memiliki fungsi ganda sebagai input dan output seperti Voice Recognizer yang membuat komputer mengerti perintah suara manusia, microphone menangkap suara input, lalu software membandingkan dengan data yang ada di sistemnya. • Dan dalam perkembangan berikutnya Teknologi terkni: kita tidak lagi memasukkan perintah lewat mouse atau keyboard, pemanggilan dial di HP dengan suara

  8. Input devices • Perangkat Masukan merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk menerima masukan yang dapat berupa masukan data maupun program • Contoh Input Device : Keyboard, pointing devices, scanner, censor, dan voice recognizer, web cam, DV, dll

  11. Output Device • Output yang dihasilkan dari pengolahan dapat digolongkan ke dalam 3 macam bentuk (huruf, kata, angka, grafik, Gambar, suara). • Dibutuhkan alat khusus, alat keluaran dapat berbentuk hard copy dan soft copy.

  14. Soft Copy Devices • Softcopy device merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk menampilkan tulisan, image, dan suara. • copy device diantaranya adalah video display dan speaker. Video display menampilkan gambar dot (titik-titik) di layar tabung kaca.
