Caltrans Library History • 1940’s – Began under Traffic & later moved to Planning • 1970 – Became Department-wide research library under Administration • 1984 – Started library online catalog • 1984 – History Program established & made responsibility of Library • 1998 – Created first library website • 2002 – Redesigned website

(equip.repair, training, etc.)- $ 4,500 TOTAL $494,500
