2. EMINEM If you look at the cover you will see that there’s curtains in the background. This works very well with the album which is called (EMINEM Curtain Call). As you can see the word curtain in the album has been related to the image which has a curtain in the background. The curtain can also represent how Eminem is going on stage to sing to their fans. This is also linked with how the curtains are opening as if they are about to start singing. The roses on the floor have been used to show love and this is because it will tell the audience that you will love the tracks the first time you listen to it.

3. Ellie GouldingBright Lights The album is called bright lights, and because of this the photographer has used a number of techniques to go with the title. For example; the dots of light around the cover and the beam of light which is shined onto her. The dotted lights are used to represent light particles/glitter and this can be used to show that she is a bit of an angel. This could represent one of the songs names, for example one of the names could be called angel. The light which is being shined on her has been used to point out the albums name. She is also wearing a white shirt and this shows that her songs will mainly be happy songs and that the songs will cheer you up. You will also see that the text ‘Ellie Goulding’ has a golden shine and this goes with the word gold in her name and this makes her name stand out.

4. N.W.A If you look at the title of the album you will realise that it says N.W.A and underneath, it says ‘The Worlds Most Dangerous Group. This lets people think that they are the best group the world has ever known and that they are worth listening too. This is good because it means that more people will buy the album in order to listen to their music and see if they like what they are listening too. This text also allows people to think that they are strong together and that they are undefeatable when it comes to life. This is good because it will make a lot of people look them up into more detail and this would get their names out into the world. This is extremely important when it comes to singers because without the fans they wont be very successful and they wont sell a lot of albums. The text ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Group’ also links in with how the photographs of the group are in black and white. This allows them to look much tougher than they may look in real life, and this allows people to believe the writing a lot more than if the men were smiling in colour. Another good technique which has been used is the writing below all of the photographs. This is good because it does two main things, one is that it emphasises the sub heading because of the nicknames and it also allows the public to know what each of the singers nicknames are. You will also realise that the names used are names which you may come across in the streets.

5. ACDC If you look at this cover you will notice that a lot of different techniques have been used. If you look at the way in which the group are dressed you will realise that the clothes are quite scruffy and aren't neat. This is the sought of clothes which you would expect rock singers to wear. You will also realise that one of the singers are wearing horns on his head. This can be thought of as them worshiping the devil/being the devil. This is good because it links in with the text which has been used at the bottom of the CD cover ‘Highway to Hell’. This is good because it allows people to know that their type of music is rock, and that people will enjoy their music. A technique which has also been used to show this fact is the black background around all of the singers. This also expresses the point that the songs produced are going to be quite dark and mysterious.
