Expectations • They are high for this class • This is due by the first of next week • Gold Wednesday for discussion • Blue Tuesday for discussion • You will have time today to devise your plan, but we will be covering Chapter 5 on Friday (blue) and Monday (gold)
Objectives • Analyze and explain how new technology brings both positive and negative changes to society. • Write a paragraph or two evaluating the benefits and drawbacks of technology • Describe governments role in the economy. • Identify one way the government contributed to the success of industrialization • What caused the development of the ICC and Sherman Antitrust Act (SAA) • How did big business transform the SAA into a tool for their benefit?
