  3. Sick Leave Accrual There are different kinds of sick leave and different ways to use it. There are different accrual rates depending on the type of leave. Please review the following policies in Policy Stat for more information: • Children in the Workplace (ID: 2639233) • Family, Medical, and Disability Leave of Absence (ID: 2656853) • Other Types of Leaves (ID: 2656795)

  5. Reporting Sick Hours Please review the Sick Leave policy on the SMU HR web page for detailed information on using sick hours for these types of leaves: • Kin Care • Extended Sick Leave • Occupational Leave (Worker’s Comp)

  6. Other Types of Leaves Following are other types of leaves. You may not use sick time for these types of leaves. Please review the Leave of Absence—Other Types of Leaves policy on the SMU HR web page for more information. • Bereavement Leave • Personal Leave • Leave for Daycare • Rehabilitation Leave • Time Off for Domestic Violence • Time Off for Crime Victims and Family Members of Crime Victims
