GTC FYE Peer Leader Role of the Peer Leader • Serve as a role model, mentor, and classroom facilitator in 8 FYE sections of College Skills, including Freshman Seminar and Learning Communities • Connect peers to campus resources, support services and campus activities • Support the academic success of all FYE students by building a campus community Benefits • Increase student engagement • Provide leadership training for the Peer Leaders • Program embraces the College’s Strategic Imperatives
