Nice Nouns. A naming word is called a noun . Nouns name people, places, and things. . Read each sentence. Rewrite the sentences on your own paper. Circle the nouns in each sentence. Some sentences will only have one noun. When you are finished, use the down arrow to check your answers.

  1. Nice Nouns A naming word is called a noun. Nouns name people, places, and things.

  2. Read each sentence. Rewrite the sentences on your own paper. Circle the nouns in each sentence. Some sentences will only have one noun. When you are finished, use the down arrow to check your answers. • I will go to the store today. • Mom says that I can get a new toy. • I will look for a new doll. • My brother will go to the store with me. • He wants a new car. • I love shopping for new toys! • I’ll buy some candy while I am there. • My brother will want a piece of candy too. • I’ll buy two pieces of gum. • I hope I see my friends at the store!

  3. Check your answers!! Use the down arrow to see how many nouns are in each sentence.
