Faculty-Designated Scholarships • Twenty-eight $1,000 scholarships in 2013-2014 • Faculty members nominate students of promise and financial need • Scholarship awards are spread throughout discipline clusters • Student recipients from Spring 2013 will receive their payments this semester • The next nomination period will begin in Spring 2014 (pending Board approval of the 2014 Budget).
Faculty & Staff Advancement Awards • Faculty & Staff Advancement Awards • $40,000 distributed per year • Two cycles (Fall & Spring) • Awards go to faculty & staff for: • Professional Development • Instructional Materials • Other innovative projects • Fall application period opens next week! • Applications are due by SEPT 23 At 5:00 p.m. • An ALL-USER email will go out next week with all relevant information and application forms

Looking to the Future The Foundation’s Strategic Plan has four goals: • Increase fundraising annually to at least $1.5 million by 2015 to provide more significant financial support to the College. Achieve at least 10% growth in 2013, with increased fundraising in each of the following years to meet 2015 goal of $1.5M. • Build a fundraising board capable of raising dollars for the Foundation through advocacy and stewardship. • Build Foundation office capacity and infrastructure to support fundraising goals. • Improve collaborative relationship and build effective integration between the Foundation and the College.
