  16. Calling Reflections How could thinking about your ministry through the Equipping Process (Calling, Connecting, Coaching, Changing) help you as a leader? What does it mean to think developmentally? How would you do this within your ministry? A team’s future success is largely dependant on who is selected for that team. Agree or Disagree? Why?

  19. Calling When you hear the word recruit, what are the first few words that come to mind? What are the first few words that come to you when you hear the word invitation?

  20. Calling Think back about the last three “invitations” you extended. Did you ask someone to simply fill a position, or did you cast a personal vision? How will you do it differently next time? Does the principle of selecting people to get a good ministry fit seem too exclusive? What is wrong with just taking anyone who wants to serve?

  21. Calling Equipping leaders are selective Equipping leaders are proactive Does the principle of selecting people to get a good ministry fit seem too exclusive? What is wrong with just taking anyone who wants to serve?

  22. Calling ALIGNING YOUR MINISTRY TO THE CHURCH What is the mission of your ministry? Why does it exist? What Spiritual Gifts are most needed? The handout has a list of spiritual gifts. For each one enter a name of people in your ministry team who manifest that gift. What gifts seem to be missing from your ministry team that would be needed to fulfill your minsitry and vision?

  23. Calling ALIGNING YOUR MINISTRY TO THE CHURCH What is the mission of our church? Briefly and clearly explain the role of your ministry has in accomplishing that mission? What specific action steps need to be taken to better align your ministry with the church.
